About

GLP-1 medications have transformed weight management. For many people, they’ve been the first treatment that truly worked — helping reduce appetite, improve metabolic health, and achieve meaningful, sustainable weight loss.

But one question kept coming up:

What happens next?

At Evolve GLP, we saw a growing gap in care. Patients were being started on GLP-1 medication with structure, monitoring, and clinical support — but when it came time to reduce, pause, or stop treatment, that structure often disappeared.

People were left feeling uncertain, anxious about weight regain, and unsure how their body would respond without medication. Some stopped abruptly. Others continued treatment longer than intended out of fear. Many turned to online forums for guidance. Very few were offered a structured transition plan.

We believed that phase deserved just as much care as starting treatment.

Evolve GLP provides structured, pharmacist-led support for people who are planning to come off GLP-1 medication or have recently stopped.

Through our digital platform, we offer:

  • Personalised rebound-risk assessment

  • Structured tapering pathway options

  • Practical guidance given by a real clinician

  • Ongoing support during the adjustment phase

Our approach is grounded in clinical practice and real patient insight. We combine physiology, behaviour and personalised assessment to help people protect the progress they’ve worked hard for.

Mission

Evolve GLP was founded by an independent prescribing pharmacist working directly with patients using GLP-1 medications.

Through real clinical conversations, a clear pattern emerged:

  • Fear of weight regain was the dominant concern

  • Tapering was rarely discussed or understood

  • Patients wanted structure, not generic lifestyle advice

  • Many felt abandoned at the point of stopping

We recognised that coming off GLP-1 medication isn’t simply about willpower — it’s about biology. After a period of external GLP-1 receptor activation, the body needs time to recalibrate. Without guidance, the risk of rebound weight gain increases.

Yet there was no accessible, structured, discreet support system focused specifically on this transition phase.

So we are building one.

Vision

We believe:

  • Weight regain is not a failure — it’s biology

  • Transitions should be planned, not reactive

  • Patients deserve clarity, not confusion

  • Support should be accessible, affordable and discreet
